Solution

Path of the egg after ovulation:

  1. The ovaries produce ova or egg cells.
  2. The egg is transported to the fallopian tubes or oviduct.
  3. The sperm is ejaculated into the vagina during a sexual intercourse
  4. The sperms travel through the cervix of the uterus towards the fallopian tube.
  5. If the egg is fertilized by a sperm then the fertilized ovum attaches itself to the uterine wall.
  6. If not, it moves through to the uterus and disintegrates.

Thus the pathway of the egg after ovulation is Ovary, oviduct, uterus, cervix, vagina.
