Uterus:

Graafian follicle:

  1. A matured fluid cavity in a human ovary that disintegrates during ovulation to produce an egg is known as a Graafian follicle

Fallopian tube:

  1. Each oviduct (fallopian tube) inside the female reproductive system is shaped like a funnel, which is known as an infundibulum. It is made up of fimbriae, which are finger-like structures that travel around the ovary.

Oviducal funnel:

  1. The uterus and the ovaries are connected by two long, slender tubes. Eggs travel from the ovaries to the uterus by the fallopian tubes.
  2. When fertilized (combined) with a sperm cell, a single cell released from either of the female reproductive organs, the ovaries, is capable of growing into a new life.
