Solution

Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is a glycoprotein gonadotropin secreted by the anterior pituitary in response to gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) released by the hypothalamus. The pituitary gland secretes luteinizing hormone (LH). In men, FSH stimulates the testicles to produce sperm and in women FSH stimulates the ovaries to produce eggs. LH hormone regulates the function of testes in men and in women triggers in ovulation and development of corpus luteum.
