Question

How did Ulysses express his thirst for knowledge in lines 18 to 24 ?

Open in App
Solution

Ulysses wanted to be a part of all that he had met, to assimilate the knowledge that he had acquired during his travels. However, he is also aware of the fact that irrespective of the amount of knowledge that he has gained, there will still be untravelled worlds whose margins seem to elude his grasp. To him, the process of gaining knowledge is ever constant and so he finds it extremely dull to pause or make an end. The pursit of knowledge for him is as natural as breathing and should be carried on constantly.
