When obstacles such as plaque buildup, narrowed blood vessels, etc. slow down blood flow, it becomes difficult for the body to circulate blood efficiently. This condition is called poor blood circulation.
Peripheral artery disease (PAD) is a circulatory condition that causes narrowing of the blood vessels and arteries, and thus poor circulation in the legs.
It can be checked by an ultrasound or CT scan, blood pressure tests including testing of the legs, and blood tests to check for diabetes, inflammatory conditions, and blood clots.
