When a liquid is heated its particles start moving faster
At its boiling point its particles gain sufficient kinetic energy to overcome the forces of attraction between them and separate into individual particles.
The liquid changes into a gas that has the least force of attraction between its particles.
Conversion of liquid into a gas is called boiling.
