Dissolving - The process in which a solid dissolve in liquid to form a homogeneous mixture is called dissolving.
Example - Dissolving of sugar or salt in water.
It is a physical change.
No new substance is formed.
When a solid is dissolved in a liquid then the solid breaks up into individual molecules which occupy the empty intermolecular space of the liquid molecules.
It is a reversible change.
