We know that total surface area of a cube is 6a2.

So, 6a2=24
a2=4

Volume of a big cube whose edge is 1 m (100 cm)=(100)3
Number of small cubes formed made out of big cube
=Volume of cube of side 1 m or 100 cmVolume of one cube of side 2 cm


=100×100×1002×2×2
