Solution

To prepare copper sulphate crystals crystallization technique is applied.

  • Take water in a beaker and add a few drops of dilute sulphuric acid (H2SO4) into it.
  • Start boiling water and add copper sulphate (CuSO4) powder to it while stirring it continuously.
  • Keep on adding copper sulphate powder till the solution becomes saturated. As soon as the solution became saturated filter the solution in the china dish and allow it to cool.
  • Keep the solution undisturbed. Slowly, you will observe the copper sulphate crystals separating out from the solution.
