Solution

The correct option is A Cost of the two tables are Rs. 3150 and Rs. 2250.
Let the C.P. of one table = Rs. x
Then, C.P. of the other table = Rs. (5400x)
S.P. of the first table at a loss of 5% = Rs. 95100×x

S.P. of the other table at a gain of 7% = Rs. 107100×(5400x)
Since there is no gain no loss.
Total S.P. = Total C.P.
95x100+107×(5400x)100=5400

95x100107x100+107×5400100=5400

12x100=5400×1005400×107100

12x100=540000577800100

12x=37800

x=3780012= Rs. 3150

Cost of the two tables are Rs. 3150 and (54003150)= Rs. 2250.
