Let length of rectangle be l and breadth be b.
Perimeter =2(l+b) ....(1)
It is given that length and breadth are doubled.
Then perimeter =2(2l+2b)
=2×2(l+b)
=2× perimeter ....From (1)
So, if the length and breadth of a rectangle are doubled, then its perimeter would be doubled.
