Solution

The correct option is A 4 mol
The sum of protons and neutrons in Mg =12+12=24

The sum of protons and neutrons in Cl =17+18=35

The total sum of protons and neutrons in one molecule of MgCl2=24+35×2=94

The total sum of protons and neutrons in one mole of MgCl2=94×6.022×1023

92×6.022×1023 protons and neutrons are present in 1 mole of MgCl2.

So, 1.132×1026 protons and neutrons will be present in
=1.132×102694×6.022×1023 mole of MgCl2
= 2 moles of MgCl2

Again 1 mole of MgCl2 contains 2 moles of Cl atoms.

So, 2 moles of MgCl2 will contain 4 moles of Cl atoms.
