Given that, radius of the pen holder is 2 m.
Height of the pen holder is 3 m.
Area of the given cardboard sheet is 32π m2.

We know that, curved surface area of a cylinder
=2πrh
Area of a circle =πr2

Now, area of the cardboard sheet required to make 1 pen holder
=2πrh+πr2
=12π+4π
=16π m2

Thus, total number of pen holders that can be created
=Area of cardboard sheetCardboard sheet required to make 1 pen holder
=32π16π
=2
