As per Chargaff's rules adenine content is equal to thymine content and guanine content is equal to cytosine content in a sample of DNA, i.e., A+G = T+C. Hence, if adenine is 120, the thymine will also be 120 and similarly if cytosine is 120 then guanine content will also be 120. Thus, making the total of 480 nucleotide bases.
So, the correct answer is option C.
