The correct option is A 4 A
Given : R1=3Ω R2=6Ω R3=4Ω V=24 volts
Equivalent resistance between A and B RAB=R1×R2R1+R2=3×63+6=2Ω

Equivalent resistance of the whole circuit Req=RAB+R3=2+4=6Ω
Current through 4Ω resistor I=VReq=246=4 A
