Let the recessive mutant chromosome be denoted by X'
A female can show rosy colour only if it is present on both sex chromosomes (X'X') while (X'X) female would show green colour and act as carrier of the mutant gene.
A cross between wild type male (XY) and rosy female (X'X') will give X'X, X'X, X'Y, X'Y ,i.e., 50% carrier females and 50% affected males.
