There are two single bonds formed between hydrogen and oxygen.
The number of valence electrons in oxygen is 6 and in hydrogen, it is 1 so, the number of electrons needed by oxygen to fulfill its octet is two whereas hydrogen needed one electron to fulfill its valence shell.
Oxygen will share its electrons with 2 hydrogen atoms and each hydrogen atom will share 1 electron with an oxygen atom to form the two single bonds.
