The correct option is C $100 V o l t$
we know that the voltage of $C$ & $L$ are always in Opposite phase
So Net voltage i.e., $V_{L}$ & $V_{C}$ & resultant
will be $v = \sqrt{(V_{L} - V_{C})^{2}} = \sqrt{(300 - 400)^{2}}$
$V = 100 V$
This formula is directed from
$V_{n e t} = \sqrt{(V_{L} - V_{C})^{2} + V_{R}^{2}}$
