Solution

Atrial Natriuretic Peptide:

  1. Vasoconstriction takes place when the muscles around blood vessels tighten to make the space inside smaller.
  2. Research has indicated that (ANP) atrial natriuretic peptide has few vasodilating properties in veins as well as in the arteries.
  3. Intravenous atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) generally results in splanchnic vasoconstriction in humans.
  4. It is usually accompanied by falls in the blood pressure or cardiac output.
