Heart attack:

  1. A heart attack, also known as a myocardial infarction, occurs when a portion of the heart muscle does not receive enough blood.
  2. The longer it goes without treatment to restore blood flow, the more damage is done to the heart muscle.

Anxiety:

  1. Anxiety is characterized by feelings of fear, dread, and uneasiness.
  2. It may cause us to sweat, feel agitated and anxious, and have a racing heart.
  3. It could be a normal stress reaction. We may have anxiety when confronted with a challenging situation at work, before taking a test, or before making an important decision.
