Let ABC be a right triangle in which AB=6cm, BC=8cm and angleB=90degree, BD is perpendicular from B to AC. the circle through BCD is drawn . Construct the tangents from A to the circle.

Solution
1) Draw BC = 8cm
2) Draw 90∘ at B. Extend it till 6cm to mark point A. Join AC.
3) With B as center & arbitrary radius, drawn an arc to cut AC at 2 points mark them as X & Y.
4) With 'X' as center & XY as radius, draw an arc. With Y as center & XY as radius, cut the previous arc. Join that to B.
