The correct option is B $y = 3 x; y = 15.$
Given, $y$ varies directly $x$
Therefore, $\frac{y}{x} = \frac{12}{4} = \frac{3}{1}$
$∴$ the linear equation is $y = 3 x$ .
When $x = 5$ , $y = ?$
$∴ y = 3 x = 3 \times 5 = 15$
Hence, option B is correct.
