Open in App
Solution

Rabi crops are sown in winter and harvested in the spring in India and some other parts of the world. Gram, linseed, mustard, pea and wheat are some examples of rabi crops.

Kharif crops are the opposite of the rabi crops. They are cultivated and harvested during the Indian subcontinent’s monsoon season, which lasts from June to November, depending on the area. Rice, maize, and cotton are some examples of Kharif crops in India. These crops are also called monsoon crops or autumn crops.
