Two parallelograms having same base and between same parallels are equal in area.
∴ ar(ABCD) = ar(CDEF)
⇒ ar(CDEF) = 22 sq.cm
If a parallelogram and a triangle are on same base and between same parallels, the area of triangle is half the area of parallelogram.
∴ ar(ABCD) = 2 × ar(ABE)
⇒ ar(ABCD) = 2 × 15 =30 sq.cm
Two triangles having same base and between same parallels are equal in area.
∴ ar(ABC) = ar(ABD)
⇒ ar(ABD) = 25 sq.cm
