2)Proteins
The function of carbohydrate is to provide energy to the body to perform the work. They are required by the body as a fuel to perform physical activities in day to day life.
The function of the protein is to repair and maintain the body tissues, hence they are called as the building blocks of the body. They also provide energy. They also play a very important role in transportation, storage of the compounds and other molecules.
