Solution

Human female reproductive system consists of Ovary, Fallopian tube, Uterus, and Vagina.
Functions:
  • Ovary: It is the primary reproductive organ and performs a dual function.
1. Production of female gamete: Ovum
2. Secretion of female sex organs: estrogen and progesterone
  • Fallopian Tube: Carry ova or eggs from the ovary to Uterus. Fertilization occurs in fallopian tubes.
  • Uterus: Within this embryo develops.
  • Vagina: It receives the sperms from the male and also serves as the passage through which the fully developed fetus is born. It is a birth canal.
