Both $Sn$ and $Zn$ are extracted by smelting their oxides with a suitable reducing agent like carbon.

In the Hall-Heroult process, concentrated alumina is fused with fluorspar and cryolite. It is then subjected to
electrolytic reduction to extract molten aluminium. Hence, smelting is not involved in the extraction of $Al$.
