Step 2: Compare the two fractions to find out who worked longer and by what fraction.

Clearly, 712<912.

So, 712<34.

Therefore, Vaibhav worked for longer time.

Let Vaibhav worked longer by xhours.

Therefore,

x=34-712=912-712=9-712=212=16hours

Thus, Vaibhav worked longer than Michael by 16 hour.
