Mohan went to a mall. He brought a water bottle from a shop in the mall for which he had to pay rs. 60. The same water bottle was available for rs. 20 in the market outside the mall. He argued with the shopkeeper but he found that the MRP was also rs. 60. Can he file a consumer case? Justify your answer

The consumer cannot file a consumer case. This is because the shopkeeper has not charged above the MRP. Whether the shopkeeper gives a discount on the MRP or not is his discretion. He has not violated any rules.
