Let the selling price after reduction is Rs.x

$\therefore x+6\%ofx=9275$

$\Rightarrow x+\frac{6x}{100}=9275$

$\Rightarrow \frac{106x}{100}=9275$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{9275\times 100}{106}=Rs.8750$

Reduction in price$=9375-8750=Rs.625$
