Neha and Priya borrowed Rs 5400 and Rs 6000 respectively at the same rate of interest for 135 years. If Priya paid Rs 240 more then, Neha, then find the rate of interest.

As simple interest =Prt100
Where,
p= principal,
r= rate of interest
t= period in years
According to the given condition,
(5400)r(85)100+240=(6000)r(85)100
(Neha's interest +240= Priya's int)
1080×8r+24000=1200×8r
8r(120)=24000
8r=200r=25%
