Reaction that occurs between Cr2O27 and Sn2+ ion is:
Cr2O27+Sn2+H+Cr3++Sn4++H2O

Reduction half: +6Cr2O272Cr3+; n-factor=3×2=6
Oxidation half: Sn2+Sn4+; n-factor=2

Since 6 mol of Sn2+ are used by 2 mol of Cr2O27. Hence 1 mol of Sn2+ will be used by 13 mol of Cr2O27.
