One card is drawn randomly from a well shuffled pack of 52 playing cards. Find the probability that the drawn card is a heart with number less than 10 (Considering Ace to be 1).

The total number of outcomes of a deck of 52 cards are 52.

Since, there are 13 cards of heart in a deck of 52 cards, therefore, the total number of favourable outcome that it is a heart with number less than 10 is 9.

Therefore, probability P of not getting a heart with number less than 10 is:

P=952

Hence, the probability of not getting a heart with number less than 10is 952.
