Solution

The correct option is A 4 mol NaOH
The reactions are as follows :

BaF21mol+H2SO41molBaSO41mol+H2F21mol
Given: 1 mol 2 mol

Thus, unreacted H2SO4=1mol

H2F2formed=1mol

H2SO41mol+2NaOH2molNa2SO4+2H2O

H2F21mol+2NaOH2molNa2F2+2H2O

Thus, total NaOH required by 1 mol H2F2 (formed) and 1 mol H2SO4 (unreacted) =4 mol.

Hence the correct option is A.
