Solution

When person throws two balls in every second then first ball reaches to the highest point in 1 s.at the highest point velocity is zero(v=0).v = u + atacceleration = - gt = 1 s0 = u - gu = gwhere u is the initial velocity.Distnace travelled in one second is the maximum height covered by the ball.s = ut + 12at2s = g(1) - g2×1×1s = g2s = 9.8/2s = 4.9 m
