In chapter one in solid states diagram there is a mistake that it is given' solid doesnot diffuse into another solid' but it is not true chalk which is solid which mixes with board wich is also solid.

Solids generally do not mix well with each other due to fact that they are rigid, tough and tend to retain their shape.

However, there are certain exceptions to the above in which solids do mix... like solid powders etc.
