Question

How do fewer/less trees affect the water cycle?

Open in App
Solution

Fewer trees mean lesser transpiration which means lesser amount of water in the atmosphere. This will ultimately affect the amount of precipitation received by the earth. Also tree’s roots holds up the water and when we cut the trees soil will become saturated with water sooner hence affecting the water cycle.
