Coniferous vegetation have trees which are roughly inverted cone-shaped trees with needle-like, cone-bearing or scaly leaves. These forests are found in places with long winters and high to moderate annual precipitation like parts of Russia, Eurasia and North America. Common trees found in coniferous forests are pine, fir and spruce.
Desert vegetation have very less plants and almost no trees. The plants are not too tall in height and have very few thorny and small leaves. This type of vegetation where the annual precipitation is very low. The plants are Xerophytic in nature, meaning they have the ability to store water and conserve water. Common plants in a desert vegetation are different types of cacti,grass and shrubs.
Tundra vegetation have very few or no trees and the vegetation comprises of mostly shrubs, grass and lichens. The vegetation can only be found in such regions where the temperature is very low and does not promote growing of plants and trees. Almost no or few trees are found. This type of vegetation is found in the Arctic Circle or North Pole, Antarctic Circle or South Pole
