Length of the floor of the room = 4 m = 400 cm as, 1 m = 100 cmbreadth of floor of the room = 3 m =300 cmarea of the floor of the room = length × breadth = 400×300 = 120000 cm2now, area of each tile = 20 cm2no. of tiles required = area of the floor of the roomarea of each tile =12000020=6000
