Write a note on asexual reproduction of angiosperms

Asexual reproduction does not involve fusion of male and female gametes. Asexual reproduction occurs in angiosperms or flowering plants also. Some plant parts such as stem leaves and roots form new plants. Underground stems like bulbs rhizomes etc produces new plant without involving fusion of male and female gametes. Leaves and roots also give arise to new plants in some angiosperms. Another phenomenon such as apomixis also produce plant using their seed as a method of asexual reproduction.
