Here in this situation, both conditions of total internal refraction are satisfied as:-

  1. Light Ray is traveling from denser(glass) to rarer( air).
  2. The angle of incidence ( in denser medium) is greater than the critical angle for glass- air inference (~ 42°). Here in this case angle of incidence is 60°.
