1.Specific heat capacity is an intensive property.
Intensive property : Those physical quantities,measured for a system,whose value does not depend on the amount of the substance. For e.g Temperature of the system. Say,for a beaker full of water has a temperature of 298 K,if you take a single drop of water from that beaker,its temperature will also be 298 K,thus it does not depend on the amount. Similarly the specific heat capacity for a substance is same,no matter in which amount it is taken.
2. Heat capacity is an extensive property.
Extensive property : Those physical quantities,measured for a system,whose value depend on the amount of the system. Such as heat capacity for a substance is the amount dependent property since it is the heat required to raise the temperature of a substance in a particular amount.
