Solution

Let the weight of box A be x kg.
According to the equation,
Weight of Box A=Weight of Box B + 52 kg
Weight of box B=(x52)kg
and weight of Box C=Weight of Box B+ 414kg
Weight of Box C=x52+414kg=x+(10+414)kg=(x+314)kgAs, total weight of three boxes=4834kg=1954kg
Total weight of three boxes=Weight of box A+Weight of Box B+ Weight of Box C
1954=x+x52+x+3141954=3x+311041954=3x+2143x=19542143x=1952143x=1744x=1743×4x=292x=1412kg.
Hence, box A weighs 1412kg.
