He can appeal before the District Forum as in this, such complaints can be filed whose claim is less than Rs 20 lakhs. On receiving the complaint, the District Forum shall refer the complaint to the opposite party.

After being satisfied with the genuineness of complainant, it passes orders such as remove the detects in goods, return the price paid or pay compensation, etc.
