$Considereing profit = Rs 600 Let The CP of the cycle = Rs x Loss = Rs 300 \Rightarrow CP - SP = 300 \Rightarrow x - SP = 300 \Rightarrow SP = x - 300 . . . . (1) New SP = Rs 3000 Profit = Rs 600 \Rightarrow New SP - CP = 600 \Rightarrow 3000 - x = 600 \Rightarrow x = 3000 - 600 \Rightarrow x = 2400 So, from (1), we get SP = 2400 - 300 \Rightarrow SP = 2100 So, Rajan has sold the cycle at Rs 2100$
