Ratio of two adjacent sides of a parallelogram is 3 : 4, and its perimeter is 112 cm. Find the length of its each side.

Let the two sides be 3x and 4x .
In a parallelogram the opposite sides are congruent.
So, the sides are 3x, 3x, 4x and 4x
Perimeter = 112 cm
3x+3x+4x+4x=11214x=112x=11214x=8
So,
3x=3×8=24 cm4x=4×8=32 cm
Thus, the sides are 24 cm, 32 cm, 24 cm and 32 cm.
