Solution

The correct option is C 4
Given, Robert and Eva had to manufacture 4 products in 3 days
So, the ratio of number of products to number of days is 4 : 3.

We have to find the number of products manufactured in 6 days and 9 days respectively.

Now, let's draw the double number line to represent the scenario.

3 days are required to manufacture 4 products.

For Robert:

We know, 3 × 2 = 6 if the consequent 3 in the second number line is multiplied with 2 to get 6. Hence the antecedant in the first number line should also be multiplied with 2, we get 8

For Eva:

We know, 3 × 3 = 6 if the consequent 3 in the second number line is multiplied with 3 to get 9. Hence the antecedant in the first number line should also be multiplied with 3, we get 12

From the double number line, We can observe that:
1- Robert would be producing 8 products if he worked for 6 days.
2- Eva would be producing 12 products if she worked for 9 days.
Hence, difference in number of products =128=4
