Solution

Dear student,

The given statement is false
Since Independence the benefits of increase in economic growth in India have not Trickle down to the population at the bottom of population pyramid, main reason being unequal distribution of wealth and income, due tob economic growth there is increased income but it does not results in levelling up of income, in India there is huge disparity between income of rich and poor people , so there is concentration of additional income in fewer hands by which maximum benefits of economic growth are not available to poor people.
