That means $1993=3x$

$\Rightarrow 1996=9x$

$\Rightarrow 1999=27x$ ---- (2)

Comparing (1) and (2) equations, we get

$27x=5400$

$\Rightarrow x$ $=5400$ $÷$ $27$
