State in brief the changes that takes place in a fertilised egg(zygote) till birth of the child in the human female reproductive system. What happens to the egg when it is not fertilized?

After fertilisation egg is attached to the utrine wall in uterus this process is called implantation. Then full development of embryo takes place in uterus this process is gestation period. Food is provided by the feotus by placenta.
When egg is not fertilised then it expelled through vagina of the body with the broken thick layer of uterus. This process is called menstruation cycles.
